Patricia Burchett is the one woman show and Founder behind J.E.W.E.L.S. She is a retiree from the federal government that has worked with youth in various capacities for more than 20 years while concurrently working as a public servant for her country. After two decades of working in a wonderful governmental career, she is now pursuing her passion working in the Higher Education field full time.
Patricia’s work with youth have included group home residential counseling, community outreach services, and informal and formal mentoring. She loves mentoring youth and young adults because she gets the opportunity to positively impact and empower well-rounded students. It warms her heart preparing them for a wholesome and successful future.
Patricia served on the Executive Board, as the Community Outreach Coordinator, for the non-profit "Scholarship Sharing" and is working towards a Master's of Education degree in Higher Education Administration. Patricia is very passionate about students and works with each to help them achieve their goals in whatever way they need. One of her leading goals is "to be the person she needed when she was young".
